Perfect for your home gym and fitness facility
Free weights are the backbone of any serious training floor — the bench you press on, the rack your barbell lives in, and the dumbbells you reach for when a machine cannot give you the movement you want. We stock adjustable benches, power racks and dumbbell sets from brands like BodyCraft, Nautilus, Throwdown and Xtreme Monkey.
Free weights or machines? Machines guide the movement, which suits beginners and rehab work; free weights let your joints travel naturally and train stabilisers as well as prime movers. Most good gyms use both — and a basement or garage gym almost always starts with a bench, a rack and a set of dumbbells.
Free weights follow your body, not a cam. An adjustable bench takes flat, incline and decline positions on one frame, and a power rack holds the bar exactly where your squat and press need it — no machine decides the path for you.
A bench tucks into a corner when the session ends, and dumbbell sets store vertically against a wall. There is no machine footprint to plan around, which is why free weights are the usual answer for garages, basements and spare rooms.
Dumbbell sets run from a first pair through to 100 lb club sets, and a rack takes plates from the bar to the heaviest pull. You add weight as you get stronger — nothing about the equipment needs replacing later.
One adjustable bench covers flat press one day and incline the next; a rack handles squats, benches, pull-ups and safeties together. The same pieces serve a home gym and a commercial floor without changing anything.

Yes — the adjustable benches we stock adjust through flat, incline and decline positions, so a single bench covers flat press, incline press and the variations around them without a second machine taking up floor space.
From starter pairs up to club sets that run to 100 lb per dumbbell. Urethane-coated sets are quieter and kinder to floors than rubber or hex. Tell us the ceiling of what you expect to lift and we will size the set to match.
Usually, yes — but the two measurements that decide it are ceiling height and the footprint you can give it. Send us both and we will tell you whether a full rack works or whether a folding or wall-mounted option suits the room better.
Both lines are on the floor — home pieces sized for a garage and commercial pieces built for a facility floor that sees dozens of lifters a day. The price difference is real, and so is the difference in how they hold up; we will point you at the one that fits how you will actually use it.
Yes. Free weight equipment is the bulkiest part of a home gym to move — a rack alone is a crate you do not want to wrestle through a doorway. Delivery includes assembly and placement, not a curbside drop-off.
We stock some used and older-model pieces (for example an adjustable bench in a previous production run) alongside new stock. Used pieces are inspected before they go on the floor and priced accordingly; ask us what is currently on hand because it changes.
Allow roughly 4 ft of clear space around a bench for free movement, and the rack’s own footprint plus about 2 ft behind it for plates and a spotter. A rack also needs volume overhead — it is the ceiling height, more than the floor, that rules most garage builds in or out.
That is the point of the showrooms. Most of this equipment is on the floor in Manchester and Bedford, so you can lie back on the bench and rack a bar before you commit. Visits are by appointment — call 1-603-809-3351 and we will confirm a time and the address.
Yes. Bench pads wear, rack hardware loosens, and dumbbell handles and rack j-hooks are exactly the parts that need replacing over a lifetime of use. Our own technicians cover the service area, and we service all manufacturers, makes and models — sell it or not.
In order: a rack if you are squatting and pressing with a barbell, a bench if your training is dumbbell-centred, and dumbbells either way. If you are building a room rather than buying a piece, tell us the room dimensions and we will tell you what fits.
