Specialized Cardio

Specialty cardio machines — Jacob’s Ladder, stair climbers, vibration plates and upper-body ergometers — from $999 to $6,945, delivered across New England.

What specialty cardio is for. These machines solve problems the standard four cannot: no-impact full-body work, upper-body-only training for rehab, or a movement pattern that keeps experienced users interested.

What to check:

• Who it is for — rehab, athletes or general members.
• How long a session is meant to be, and how hard it is to learn.
• Floor space and ceiling height, which vary a lot in this category.
• Parts and service, since these are lower-volume machines.

Machines can be viewed by appointment at our New Hampshire showrooms. We deliver and install throughout New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Maine, Vermont, Rhode Island and Connecticut, and we service every brand we sell.
