The Aspen StairMill and Arcadia Air Runner
The Aspen StairMill and Arcadia Air Runner
Pro 6 Wellness is part of Golden Designs, the same company behind the Golden Designs and Dynamic sauna lines, and it makes two machines that are hard to find anywhere else: the Aspen StairMill, an indoor stair climber with real 6-inch steps, and the Arcadia Air Runner.
We stock the Aspen Stair Mill 4000 at $3,995. It is the machine to look at if a standard step mill has stopped being hard work.
Most stair climbers are a moving belt with treads painted on. Four things make the Aspen a different machine.
The Aspen uses actual 6-inch step height rather than painted treads on a belt. That is why it feels closer to climbing a staircase than to walking uphill on a treadmill.
A lock that holds the steps still so the machine can be mounted and dismounted safely. On a machine with real step height that is not a luxury — it is the reason the machine is safe to get on.
A genuine stair climber needs roughly 8 feet of ceiling clearance to use safely. Measure before you buy — this is the single most common reason a stair climber goes back.
Resistance comes from an electromagnetic brake rather than a motor driving the belt, which is what lets the machine respond to the user’s pace instead of setting it for them.
One model in stock at $3,995: real 6-inch steps, step lock, electromagnetic brake, and an 8-foot ceiling requirement. See the Aspen Stair Mill 4000 for the full specification, or ask us about delivery and installation.
We have supplied and serviced fitness equipment in New England for over 35 years, and we service every brand we sell. A stair climber is a heavily loaded machine — steps, brake, drive — and it needs a service route, not just a delivery.
We will also check the room before you commit. Ceiling height, floor loading and door width decide whether a stair climber is possible at all, and it is much cheaper to find that out now.

We are a New England fitness equipment dealer based in Manchester, New Hampshire. We supply home gyms, commercial facilities, hotels, schools and physical therapy clinics across New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Maine, Vermont, Rhode Island and Connecticut — and we service every brand we sell.
Because we both sell and service the equipment, the advice you get is not shaped by what happens to be in stock. If a machine is wrong for your space, your traffic or your budget, we will say so.
Tell us the room, the traffic and the budget and we will tell you what actually fits — including when the honest answer is that you do not need to spend as much as you think. Call, email, or request a quote and we will come back to you.
