Whole body vibration platforms for home and commercial use
Whole body vibration platforms for home and commercial use
Power Plate is the brand that made whole body vibration a category. We stock two of the range: the Personal at $2,295 and the MOVE at $3,720.
Both work on the same principle — a platform that oscillates so the muscles have to react to an unstable surface — but they are built for different rooms and different amounts of use.
Two models, one movement. The decision is about who uses it and how often, not about which one vibrates better.
The home model. Smaller footprint, lighter, and priced for a single household. This is the one to look at if the platform is going into a spare room or a garage gym.
The step up: a larger platform and a heavier build, specified for more use and a wider range of positions. That is what the extra money buys — not a different movement.
Adding load to a movement you can already do, and giving people who cannot take impact a way to train. It is a supplement to a programme, not a replacement for one.
Both are floor-standing and need clear space around the platform and a firm, level surface. A sprung or floating floor changes how the platform feels, so check before you site it.
Home and light use: the Personal at $2,295 does the job. A clinic, a studio, or a household where more than one person trains daily: the MOVE at $3,720 is the one that will still feel the same in five years.
If you are unsure, tell us who will use it and how often. That question decides it more often than the specification does.
We have supplied and serviced fitness equipment in New England for over 35 years. A vibration platform is a motorised machine with wearable parts, and the cheap ones are cheap because the motor and the plate mounts are cheap.
We deliver, install and service what we sell, and we will tell you when a platform is not the right purchase for what you are trying to achieve.

We are a New England fitness equipment dealer based in Manchester, New Hampshire. We supply home gyms, commercial facilities, hotels, schools and physical therapy clinics across New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Maine, Vermont, Rhode Island and Connecticut — and we service every brand we sell.
Because we both sell and service the equipment, the advice you get is not shaped by what happens to be in stock. If a machine is wrong for your space, your traffic or your budget, we will say so.
Tell us the room, the traffic and the budget and we will tell you what actually fits — including when the honest answer is that you do not need to spend as much as you think. Call, email, or request a quote and we will come back to you.
