STOTT PILATES equipment for studios and clinics
Merrithew is the company behind STOTT PILATES, the Pilates method and equipment system taught in studios and rehabilitation clinics worldwide. The equipment line — reformers, cadillacs, chairs and barrels — is built for professional instruction, which is a different brief from home fitness.
It has to hold adjustment between clients, take daily class use, and survive being re-set dozens of times a day. That is what the price difference over a home reformer is buying.
Studio equipment is specified by the class, not by the catalogue. Four requirements decide whether a machine is fit for instruction.
In a studio the reformer is re-set dozens of times a day. Spring bars, footbars and headrests have to return to the same position every time, or the class cannot be taught to a consistent standard.
Studio equipment is designed to be stood on, sat on and adjusted by an instructor standing over it. Home reformers are not, and the difference shows up in the warranty and in year three.
STOTT equipment is common in physiotherapy and clinical Pilates, where the machine has to support a client who cannot get into position unaided. That is why the chairs and the cadillac are part of the range rather than extras.
The repertoire and the machine come from the same company, which matters if your instructors are STOTT-certified: the equipment matches what they were taught to teach.
Not standing stock. We do not keep this brand on the floor as inventory, so there is no price tag to read. Tell us what you are looking for and we will confirm availability, current pricing and lead time — and say plainly if a brand we do stock covers the same job for less.
A studio fit-out is a floor-plan problem before it is a shopping list: how many reformers fit, where the cadillac goes, what storage and access look like. Send us the room dimensions and the class size and we will quote the mix rather than a single machine.
We have supplied and serviced fitness equipment in New England for over 35 years. Pilates equipment is a small, specialist purchase, and the usual failure is buying a home reformer for a studio and wearing it out inside two years.
We would rather help you plan the room than sell you one machine. Tell us how many clients are in a class and how the space is laid out, and we will tell you what fits — including when fewer, better machines are the right answer.

We are a New England fitness equipment dealer based in Manchester, New Hampshire. We supply home gyms, commercial facilities, hotels, schools and physical therapy clinics across New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Maine, Vermont, Rhode Island and Connecticut — and we service every brand we sell.
Because we both sell and service the equipment, the advice you get is not shaped by what happens to be in stock. If a machine is wrong for your space, your traffic or your budget, we will say so.
Tell us the room, the traffic and the budget and we will tell you what actually fits — including when the honest answer is that you do not need to spend as much as you think. Call, email, or request a quote and we will come back to you.
