Commercial-grade racks and strength equipment
ETE builds the part of a strength floor that takes the load: racks and benches in heavy-gauge steel, with the hardware you would otherwise buy separately included as standard.
We stock the 6′ Basic Squat Rack at $995. It is the rack we recommend most often to someone fitting out a garage or a small facility, because it does the job of a full power rack in a footprint that fits under a normal ceiling.
Four things decide whether a rack is worth owning: the steel, the hole spacing, what comes in the box, and whether anybody will warranty it.
Three-inch uprights in 11-gauge steel, with a 1,000 lb capacity. That is commercial tubing, not the thinner box section used on budget racks, and it is why the frame carries a lifetime warranty on frame and parts.
Footprint is 51″ x 48″ and it stands 72″ high, short enough for most basement and garage ceilings.
3/4″ holes at 2.5″ on centre. Hole spacing matters most around bench height, where a coarse rack forces you to press from a J-hook position that is either too high or too low.
Finer spacing means the safety arms and the hooks sit where you actually need them, which is the difference between a rack you use and a rack you work around.
UHMW-lined J-hooks, rubber-lined spotter arms, 12″ chrome weight storage pegs and two bar holders — standard, not optional extras you discover at checkout.
The UHMW and rubber linings are there to protect bar knurling and the finish on the uprights. On a rack without them, bare steel chews up both.
Racks, benches and strength stations beyond the 6′ Basic are quoted to order. We do not list prices for equipment we cannot ship today.
Tell us the station list you are trying to fill and the ceiling height, and we will tell you what fits and what it costs.
A squat stand is the least equipment that will hold a bar. A half rack adds safety arms and storage. A full power rack adds a crossmember, band pegs and usually a lat attachment, and it costs you ceiling height and floor area.
The 6′ Basic sits at the practical end of that range: safety arms and storage in a 72″ frame. If you are training alone, the safety arms are not optional — they are the reason to buy a rack rather than stands.
We have supplied and serviced fitness equipment in New England for over 35 years, and we service every brand we sell. A rack is simple enough that almost nobody services it — which is why hardware, liners and pads are the parts that fail first.
We deliver and install across New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Maine, Vermont, Rhode Island and Connecticut. Viewings are by appointment.

We are a New England fitness equipment dealer based in Manchester, New Hampshire. We supply home gyms, commercial facilities, hotels, schools and physical therapy clinics across New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Maine, Vermont, Rhode Island and Connecticut — and we service every brand we sell.
Because we both sell and service the equipment, the advice you get is not shaped by what happens to be in stock. If a machine is wrong for your space, your traffic or your budget, we will say so.
Tell us the room, the traffic and the budget and we will tell you what actually fits — including when the honest answer is that you do not need to spend as much as you think. Call, email, or request a quote and we will come back to you.
